Unlike traditional ceremonies, Persian weddings are a bit different with specific traditions and customs. Even though some customs may be slightly different, depending on the background of the couple and their parents, in majority, almost all of the ceremonies we've had a pleasure of capturing were similar. One thing that we love about all of the Iranian weddings is the dancing at the evening reception. Once the couple enters the reception halls, the dancing starts and it pretty much never stops throughout the evening. The knife dance is probably the cutest dance that always draws a lot of attention from all the guests who are laughing and taking pictures as various men and women dance.
